Cardio Defender Smartphone - based ECG for Cardiac Arrhythma

            Cardiodefender is a device that has been newly released by the Everist Genomics for medical purposes. It is used to help detect arrhythmias and to help the patient monitor their own heart rate throughout the day. This device is designed by using a wrist watch-like to collect the data from electrodes and its transmitted via Bluetooth to a smartphone. This device has got the FDA approval and EU's CE Mark. The doctor will be notify via email, page or other electronics after the device activates or "alarmimg" when getting the unwelcome graphs.

            Other features offered by this device name Cardiodefender are the following;

  • reporting along with the capability to capture 
  • report symptomatic and asymptomatic arrhythmias   

  Cardiodefender is very helpful and resourceful device using for the patient because through this device, nurses who are busy and assign many patients in the ward their work done immediately because they dont need to minitor by using stethtoscope to listen or identy the patients heart rate and it will take a long time, so if the hospital use this device  nurses work immediately and work faster because you set only the device to monitor the heart rate od the patients and when you set this it automatically the result will appear and you immediately record the result into the chart and referred to the doctor if ever there are abnormal result.
